Lenape Trail Directions
From Eagle Rock Avenue Going East Down the Yellow Trail, Livingston:
Park on Eagle Rock Avenue at the Essex County Environmental Center. On your right is the start of Patriots' Path, on the left is the start of the Lenape Trail. The trail goes through the woods and drops you off near a power plant on Eisenhower Parkway. Across the way are power lines that the trail follows. You go through a dinosaur fossil sight, then it hits Livingston Avenue. The trail follows Livingston Avenue briefly, the dumps you onto backroads, and then you find yourself following these power lines again. You continue down the power lines till you reach Sandalwood Drive. This road takes you to Laurel Avenue and then bring you to the power lines again. You follow the power lines again to Pleasant Valley Way, and the trails follows the road under Interstate-280.
